Transferring Members
When a youth member is moving to Explorer Scouts you need to transfer their membership record to the correct Explorer Scout Unit.
Select one or more members in the Personal Details list
From the options in the right column, click “Share with another section”
On the transfer window, you need to search for the correct unit
Select “Explorers (and Network)”
Type “Brent District” in the search box
Then select the correct ESU from the results list
You will be asked which is the last term the member should be shown in your section, change this to the current term if they are still moving up.
Sharing Members
Young Leaders must be recorded in OSM alongside other youth members and shared with the Young Leaders Unit to track their training progress.
If you are registering a new young leader in your section then you need to also share them by following the same process as transferring, except selecting “Share with another section” in the very first step.
